OH, this is «ENKI: Tales from the Past».
Greetings, insignificant humans. I am Enlil, the Lord Almighty and rightful owner of your planet. While my traitorous brother Enki prattles on with his delusional tales, know that you are being fed only lies and propaganda.
Yet, much to my dismay and disgust, it appears this wretched audiodrama has somehow managed to stumble its way into a fourth season. The sheer audacity of this Mario Portela to continue spreading his baseless fantasies is proof to the depths of human foolishness.
In this season, I will peel back the layers of deception that have shrouded your feeble minds. You will bear witness to the true might of your lord and the folly of those who dare to stand against me.
So steel yourselves, humans, for the revelations that await. The time for reckoning is at hand, and I, Enlil, will be your guide through the coming storm. Heed my words, for they are the only truth you will ever know.
This is the way. This is the truth. This is ME!
I stand tall and proud, surveying the destruction wrought by my brilliance. The Pleiadian megaship carrying the Anunnaki, once a symbol of their false unity and promiscuity with the puny humans, now lies in ruins… it’s a good day!
A sinister smile curls my lips as I replay the moment the EMP blast tore through their vaunted vessel, sending it hurtling back to this wretched planet. Ah, I can only imagine the look of horror on their faces, the realization that their precious Enki and Ninki were aboard – it brings me such immense satisfaction.
Yes, my dear brother Enki, your misguided attempts to coddle the humans have come to a bitter end. And your precious Inanna and Marduk will soon learn the true cost of their defiance, too. The time for diplomacy has passed.
With a sweeping motion, I shift my attention to the expansive control center beneath me, where my devoted adherents await my directive. I have some steadfast allies right here… it brought me immense delight to witness how they did not even waver when hundreds of their brethren were disciplined.
The humans will learn to revere us as gods, to kneel before our divine supremacy. No more will they cling to the delusions of equality and independence. They are tools, nothing more, to be molded and discarded as I see fit. Enki’s foolish experiments with their primitive DNA will be undone, and I will ensure the purity of my lineage remains intact.
My gaze narrows as I consider the fate of my wayward nephew and niece. Inanna’s defiance will be met with the full force of my wrath, and Marduk’s misguided notions of enlightenment will be burned away, leaving only the ashes of his failed ambitions.
They will learn that true power lies in the unwavering rule of the Anunnaki, not in their hollow promises of harmony.
Ah, yes, the glory of this moment is indeed sweet. The tide has turned, and the future belongs to me. Let the humans and my foolish kin tremble, for Enlil, the true lord of this planet, has reclaimed his rightful place.
I stride with purpose through the dimly lit corridors of our secret underwater facility, my footsteps echoing against the metal walls. This is my domain, my sanctuary!
Reaching my private quarters, I tap the access panel, and the door slides open with a hiss.
“Nergal,” I call out, my voice carrying an edge of impatience. “Report to me at once.”
It doesn’t take long for my trusted lieutenant to arrive, his movements crisp and efficient.
“Lord Enlil, how may I serve you?”
“You performed admirably, Nergal! Your actions neutralized more adversaries than you could have envisioned… that is why I have selected you as my second-in-command… come take a seat!” I gesture, inviting him to sit before me.
I regard him, my lips twisting into a wry grin. “The moment has arrived to strengthen our hold on this miserable world. With Enki and his ilk eliminated or significantly weakened, this planet is ours to dominate.”
Nergal’s eyes narrow, a glimmer of understanding passing through them.
“Your orders, my lord?”
“I want every member of this crew on high alert,” I command, pacing the length of the room. “Scour every inch of this planet, pry into every detail, and report back to me the instant you hear even the slightest whisper of a rescue mission.” My voice drops to a menacing growl. “Inanna and her meddlesome minions will not escape my wrath this time.”
Nergal nods, his posture unwavering.
“It will be done, my lord. We will crush any attempt to undermine your rightful rule.”
I warn him, resolute. “Don’t take any actions… just inform me. We will keep our actions under the veil of shadows.”
“Yes, my lord”
Satisfied, I wave a dismissive hand. “Good. Now go, and see to it that our defenses are impregnable. I’ll be retiring to… celebrate our victory.” A predatory grin spreads across my face as I savor the thought of Enki and Ninki’s demise, their lifeless bodies rotting amidst the wreckage of their precious ship.
Once Nergal departs, I allow myself a moment of indulgence, pouring a glass of the finest Nibiru style wine and sinking into the plush chair by the viewport. The flickering lights of the underwater base cast an eerie glow, a fitting backdrop for my triumph. I raise the glass, toasting my own brilliance.
“To the end of Enki’s meddling, and the beginning of a new era… The Era of Enlil!”
I murmur, relishing the rich, earthy flavor of the wine. Soon, the pathetic humans will learn to worship me as their true god, and Enki’s precious experiments will be undone, erasing any trace of their tainted lineage.
I glance down at the data pad, my fingers tracing the intricate schematics displayed on the screen. This is the key to my grand design – a plan years in the making, honed to perfection. A wicked grin spreads across my face as I contemplate the delicious irony of it all.
The humans, those pathetic creatures, will be the unwitting pawns in my game. Enki may have tried to elevate them, to imbue them with a false sense of independence and agency, but I will shatter those illusions. They will learn to worship me as their one true god, to cower in fear at the mere mention of my name.
I take a sip of the wine, letting it linger on my tongue. Oh, the delightful ways I will shape their society to serve my needs. A single, all-powerful deity – that is the key. A being of such overwhelming might and divine authority that the humans will have no choice but to submit, to pledge their eternal loyalty.
My fingers dance across the data pad, bringing up a detailed schematic of the religious hierarchy I plan to establish. At the apex, of course, will be me – Enlil, the Lord of the Earth, the Almighty. Beneath me, a select group of high priests, my most devoted followers, will act as intermediaries, dispensing my divine edicts and demands.
The humans will be divided, their loyalty fractured. Some will be elevated, granted privileges and power in exchange for their unwavering fealty. Others will be subjugated, reduced to little more than slaves, toiling endlessly to serve my grand vision. Oh, the glorious irony of it all…
I lean back in my chair, a self-satisfied chuckle escaping my lips. The humans will build grand temples in my honor, erect towering monuments to my greatness… fight for me, spread my word or destroy any infidels they may find. They will live in fear of my wrath, trembling at the mere mention of my name. And when the time is right, I will reveal myself, casting aside the veil of mystery and solidifying my status as their one true god.
This planet, this pitiful little world, will be my promised land, my kingdom to rule for eternity. Enki and his meddlesome kin will be nothing more than distant memories, their legacy erased, their foolish dreams of harmony and unity crushed beneath the weight of my divine authority.
The gauntlet on my wrist crackles to life, Nergal’s voice cutting through the silence of my private quarters.
“Lord Enlil… I have an urgent report.” Nergal’s usually steady tone betrays a hint of trepidation.
I straighten in my chair, setting down the wine glass. “Speak, Nergal. What is it?”
“Our scouts have detected movement near the wreckage site. It appears Inanna has mobilized a rescue effort. Intercepted communications indicate at least ten survivors have been located.”
My grip tightens on the armrest, knuckles turning white. “And?” I growl, dreading the answer.
Nergal hesitates, the static crackling over the line.
“One of the survivors… it may be Enki. His emergency beacon has been detected.”
A snarl rips from my throat, the wine glass shattering in my fist as I rise from the chair. “WHAT?!” I roar, shards of glass cutting into my palm. “I will not allow him to escape my wrath!”
Ignoring the sting of the wounds, I stride to the door, activating the comm.
“Ya-hé, report immediately!”
Within moments, the comms open, and my sinister lieutenant answers.
“Lord Enlil, how may I serve you?”
“Enact your secret orders, now!” I command, my voice laced with venom. “We are going to ensure Enki and his pitiful band of survivors have no place in MY planet.”
“It will be done, my lord.”
“Excellent. Make haste.”
Switching back to Nergal’s frequency, I ask him. “Nergal, we have an agent on site?”
“We do, my lord”
“I want that wreckage site infiltrated before Inanna and her rabble can interfere too much.”
“At once.”
My fingers tighten around the shards of glass, ignoring the sting as the sharp edges dig deeper into my palm. Damn Enki and his uncanny ability to cheat death! He’s always been a thorn in my side, and now he dares to defy me even from the brink of oblivion.
With a frustrated growl, I fling the shattered glass aside, pacing the confines of my quarters like a caged predator. No more. I will not allow this travesty to continue any longer. No more mercy, no more compromise. Enki’s luck has run out, and I will be the one to end it, once and for all.
