My sleek vessel glides effortlessly through the skies, guided by some invisible force towards the heart of the impossible floating metropolis. As I initiate landing sequences, technological wonders beyond imagination surround me on all sides. Holographic displays flicker to life, casting the docking platform in a kaleidoscope of hypnotic lights and colors. Gossamer threads glimmer in the air, connecting countless alien devices in an intricate web. I am engulfed in a symphony of light and sound, the purpose of the strange floating objects mystifying me. What brilliant mind could have engineered such marvels?
At last my ship comes to rest atop the platform. I rise slowly, my heart pounding in anticipation. This is it – the moment I will be reunited with my love after cycles spent in solitude. I approach the hatch and it opens with a soft hiss, releasing the most pure, sweetly scented air I’ve ever breathed. It’s as if the atmosphere itself has been engineered to perfection – not a trace of engine fumes or fuel lingers, only a crisp ocean breeze. Each breath fills me with vigor.
I step out warily and gaze around in awe. The city spreads out before me, an intricate complex of concentric rings and gossamer bridges suspended weightlessly over the ocean. Structures crafted of shimmering metals, smooth glass, and flowing silken materials rise on all sides. Strange humanoid forms dart through the air, trailing silvery threads. Are they spirits or garbed in some advanced cloaking technology? They pay me no mind as they go about their inscrutable tasks.
A familiar presence brushes my mind, confirmation that my quest has reached its end. “Ninki!” I call out joyously. “I am here, lead me to your side!” Her consciousness envelops mine, guiding me forth into the alien metropolis. Each step takes me closer to our long-awaited reunion. I know not what mysteries lie ahead in this technological marvel, but with Ninki at my side once more, the long solitude finally ends.
I walk alone and undisturbed, but I feel her in my mind in a never experienced way… I am led through wide thoroughfares bustling with floating humanoid shapes. None address me, but I feel their eyes follow my passage curiously. The structures are adorned with smooth panels that shade subtly through all colors in mesmerizing patterns. High above, fleet airborne vehicles glide amongst towering spires. I yearn to understand the science behind such wonders.
At last I come before an immense domed building at the city’s edge, pulsing with soft light. As I ascend the steps, grandeur and refinement beyond anything I’ve known unfolds within. The interior is a marvel of soaring spaces and sweeping curves, mixed with foliage that grows out of pure air as if coming from another dimension… diffuse light infusing all. More faceless humanoids in gossamer garb tend to tasks or converse in small groups. Their murmured words are musical, yet unintelligible to me.
Suddenly, a familiar figure emerges from a far passageway. My breath catches in my throat as we lock eyes. – “Ninki!” – I cry out in joy. In three swift strides I sweep her into my embrace. Tears flow freely as we cling to each other, words inadequate for this profound moment.
Finally we pull back, hands clasped tightly together, and I drink in my love’s dear face. She looks just as I remember, yet subtly changed – an otherworldly grace surrounds her – a light or a certain energy shift of sorts.
Ninki: “Oh Enki! I knew I would find you despite all efforts betraying my hope. I knew our connection would stay true…”
My mind spins with questions.
– “Ninki, what is this place? How came you to be here?”
She smiles softly, brushing wisps of silvery weightless threads from my face.
Ninki: “All shall be explained, my love. But first, tell me, is Inanna alright? I miss her so much, it’s as if a part of me is numb.”
I simply nodded smiling wide, words had left my mind, but she seemed to understand what I was unable to speak by smiling back and gently pulling my hand.
Ninki guides me to a chamber where a lavish meal has been prepared. As I eat, she recounts how she had to leave as she was summoned to prevent a real disaster to happen to this planet she so holds dear. I had millions of questions, but all I could ask was who were those floating around the room. Andromedans, she said, they are intradimensional beings of pure consciousness, able to construct bodies of light to interact with corporeal realms.
–
Enki: “My love, now that we are reunited, will you share your full truth with me? Your presence here intimates mysteries beyond my grasp.”
Ninki gazes at me solemnly, steeling herself before speaking.
Ninki: “What I now reveal, none in our realm yet know. I am… of a lineage tracing back to the Andromeda galaxy itself.”
I gasp, stunned by this revelation.
-“How can this be? Your origins span such impossible distances?”
Ninki continues gravely.
Ninki: “Aeons past, bloodlines were seeded on Nibiru from that far reaches of space. We dwell amongst your kind, yet retain our ancestry’s latent connection.”
-She pauses, an apprehensive shadow in her eyes.
Ninki: “I am a watcher by birthright, bound to that ancient race. We observe but rarely intervene beyond our home galaxy. But our lineage endures, vigilant protectors of cosmic equilibrium.”
I struggle to absorb her staggering words. Gripped by turmoil, I ask,
– “Why did you conceal this truth, my love?”
Ninki squeezes my hands, her voice thick with emotion.
Ninki: “I wished only to live as one of you, not set apart. In your arms I found belonging, regardless of my lineage.”
I pull Ninki close, my swirling doubts calmed by her warmth.
-“Ever shall it be so between us, no matter your ancestry, I vow.”
– I gaze at her in wonder.
– “That your origins span galaxies…how much more remains unknown?”
Later in the privacy of her chambers, Ninki’s tale continues. Of training in the mental disciplines of her ancient race, honing abilities beyond anything known on Nibiru. Abilities she has kept masked save for subtle moments of intuition and insight.
I gaze at Ninki in wonder, my mind struggling to grasp the implications of her cosmic heritage. She smiles softly, taking my hands in her own.
Ninki: “Do not let this knowledge trouble you, my love. I am still the same Ninki you have always known.”
Enki: “I know this changes nothing between us. But it opens horizons far beyond what I imagined.”
– A thought strikes me.
– “Will you return with me, to see our daughter again?”
– Sadness clouds Ninki’s eyes.
Ninki: “I cannot. My place is here now, bound to my duties.”
My heart sinks, but I understand her choice. We cling to each other tightly.
-“Then I will come back to you… And I will tell Inanna all that has transpired. She will be overjoyed that you still live.”
Ninki: “Tell her to come to me… We need several moons to catch up on all these news.”
At last we pull apart. Ninki walks with me back to my ship, imparting her wisdom, as I prepare for the long journey home. My mind whirls with revelations to share. Inanna will be stunned when she learns of her mother’s secret heritage and this astonishing city. But most of all, she will be relieved beyond measure to know Ninki is safe.
I embrace my love one last time.
-“I will see you again soon,” – I whisper. Then I board my vessel, casting a final lingering glance back at Ninki as the hatch seals shut. She stands serenely watching until I rise into the sky, bound for home and our daughter.
